The problem

Enterprise IT breaks when service, asset and configuration data can't be trusted.

Most enterprises don't actually know what they run. Then a forcing moment arrives: a regulator asks for evidence. An acquirer asks what it's buying. A renewal forces a platform decision. An AI initiative discovers the configuration data is fiction.

  • Fragmented tooling
  • Unclear ownership
  • CMDB decay
  • Stalled migrations
  • Audit pressure
  • Automation blocked by data nobody trusts

Service, asset and configuration data nobody can trust.

Thirteen things that should be one system. Relationships cross without a model, and three nodes have no edge at all: nobody owns them, no rule validates them, nothing reads them. This is the state we are called into.

Beyond configuration

Three things not everyone does.

  1. Access and permission architecture

When more teams need to work in the platform than its roles were set up for.

Four organisations arrived at the same wall, across banking, betting and gaming, energy and technology. For each, Ionosof designed the roles, permission schemes, portals and request types so every team operates in the role Atlassian's licensing intends for it. Fewer agent seats is the result, not the method, and the designs are reviewed against Atlassian's licensing terms before implementation.

    • a full enterprise ITSM operating within 300 agent seats
    • an additional team serving the portal with 1,000 licences already in use
  2. Engineering, not only configuration

When the platform alone isn't enough.

We build what is needed: Python applications on Kubernetes deployed with GitLab CI · business logic in Azure Functions triggered from Jira Automation · infrastructure with Terraform · ScriptRunner and Groovy · Google Apps Script · Power Automate · Node-RED and Docker.

    • an in-house application that reads AWS Config via Athena and keeps a bank's CMDB current every morning, flagging what has been retired
  3. Knowledge transfer

So that you don't depend on us.

We design tiered adoption programmes: an expert core trained in depth, a common baseline for the whole organisation, and bounded support while autonomy consolidates. From administrators through to executive committees.

  • Financial services · Switzerland

Direct client since 2023 · architect and project manager deployed

A CMDB in Atlassian Assets formally defined as the source of truth: it enabled six data-centre migrations, the move of the ITSM to Cloud and the evidence for DORA. Today it is enterprise asset management integrated with LeanIX, OneTrust and Workday.

  • Public sector · EU institution

    Active engagement

Configuration architecture in an environment exceeding 21 million CIs, defining the CMDB standard the institution's teams adopt.

  • Banking · Baltics

    Direct client · Active

ITSM migrated from ServiceNow to Atlassian Cloud within 300 agent licences. An identity and domain model connecting Entra ID, Atlassian Teams and the CMDB. AWS infrastructure ingested daily.

  • Aviation · Ireland

    Active engagement

Company-wide ITSM and the full ITAM estate migrated out of ServiceNow, with three months of hypercare in a 24/7 environment. Assets kept alive by daily discovery across six platforms.

  • Consumer goods · global organisation

    Approximately 271,000 employees

Two years owning the full Atlassian platform cycle (Server, consolidation and Cloud), infrastructure included. 13 full integrations delivered.

  • Technology · international group

    Currently in execution

Platform consolidation after an acquisition: an ITSM migrated from FreshService into the group's Atlassian instance.

Our story

The specialisation found us.

Ionosof didn't come out of a business plan. It came out of working inside companies that needed Atlassian specialists and couldn't find them.

The questions procurement asks before IT gets to decide.

  • Independent

Not in Atlassian's partner programme. No reseller margin, no licence quota.

If the answer is fewer licences, that is the answer you get.

  • Compliance is the deliverable

Ionosof holds no company certification. We build the configuration evidence your audits need.

Delivered against ISO/IEC 27001, CIS Controls and DORA, including a CMDB built from zero for an ISO 27001 audit.

  • Three people, clear roles

Solution architect, project manager, account manager. No bench, no rotation, no salesperson in between.

Atlassian credentials: Certified Cloud Organization Admin · Pro Skills · Confluence Space Admin. Project Management Professional (PMP) on the delivery side.
